We spent a lot of time at the computer and in the kitchen when they weren't out sightseeing or we weren't all out on a short or long trip. Dom even took several guitar lessons with Cristián, Artie's teacher, and he would take free moments to practice playing Artie's guitar. | |
| At right is our favorite part of our Yoga classes in the park on Sunday morning. Artie and I have continued to attend these Yoga sessions after beginning with Ann and Dom, who also taught us at home. | ![]() |

At the Terma el Corazón, just north of Los Andes, Chile |

![]() Ann and Dom demonstrated some of their yoga positions for us in this private Yoga room that the hotel made available for us. The next day we all had an exercise class led by Artie followed by a Yoga session led by Ann and Dom before we headed to the thermal pool and jacuzzi. |

Later that day, we stopped at this park after we crossed the Andes into Argentina. It was still cold at this elevation, but we enjoyed the sunshine after traveling through a snow squall in Chile. |

| We stayed overnight in the very picturesque town of Uspallata, Argentina. |

Meanwhile, back in Santiago, Ann found a nature reserve listed in a guidebook. It is hard to believe that this rustic and hilly location is actually in our city. We felt a bit like mountain goats climbing to the top of the ridge. Well, they did at least. The tiny red dot on the right is me. I didn't want to have to climb down that very steep slope. While I waited for them, I said hello to a cow which wandered by! |
