April 13-23, 2007 Part 2: Holland |
Land of windmills, wooden shoes, canals, tulips and friends. We saw it all!
It's good we had our guide. Reading Dutch was impossible! |
| We marveled at the Rembrandt masterpieces. | ||
| We enjoyed many reflections: thinking about the life captured in Rembrandt's art, quick reviews of photos while snacking in local restaurants, a brief visit with Casper and Lotte, who were neighbors in Chile and have returned to their native Holland, plus evening reflections of historic buildings in the Hague. | ||
| After marveling at Rembrandt's art, we then marveled at that of Mother Nature. Holland's tulips are amazing. These endless fields of color will end up in many gardens and homes. | ||

To see millions of these lovely flowers in a wonderful park please go next to Keukenhof Gardens |
