Among the interesting things that occur in our neighborhood was a marathon that began in Plaza Peru, right across the street from our apartment. Our friend Mauricio was running a half marathon, so we were there to support him. Get Ready...The preparations began early the previous morning with the delivery and setup of tents and barriers and continued throughout the day, late into the night and into the early morning hours before the race began. |
