Our Anniversaries!!
June 7, 2004 We celebrated two special anniversaries: our 35 years of marriage and our 5 years in Chile. We enjoyed a fun night out at the movies, seeing "The Day After Tomorrow" with some of our dear friends, followed by a pizza dinner.

Here are Coté, Andrés, Cristián and Antonia. Mónica and Gustavo were waiting in line behind us when we took this shot of the young people in our group. We had visited New York City with Mónica, Coté and Cristian, so the spectacular scenes in the movie had more impact.

We went to Da Dino's for supper after the show. Having Felipe as our waiter remined us of our first week in Chile when we had a lot of trouble trying to understand the menu. He helped us then, as he has helped most of our visitors during the last 5 years.

		After dinner we returned to our apartment, and Artie gave Margy the special card that he had made for her, entitled, The First 35 Years. Margy is pointing to Cristián giving her his first guitar lesson in the car.

Artie arranged for a street artisan to custom make a miniature guitar with Margy's name and the number 35.
Mónica brought us a cake and tested the icing to be sure it was good.

The next night we were surprised that our celebration continued when we went to a concert in which our dear Cristián performed.

Right after the intermission, Cristián stood up and made an announcement to the audience. He said that the evening's performance was dedicated to his good friends Artie and Margy, celebrating 35 years of marriage and 5 years in Chile. The full house audience gave us a round of applause. This certainly was a memorable evening and anniversary for us!
