Thanksgiving 2003We celebrated this American holiday on November 22 with many of our family and friends here in Chile, and even my sister Bibba, visiting from the USA. This was our third year to host a Thanksgiving dinner at the Prince of Wales Country Club. |

| This year we had a special treat, since among our 28 guests were 5 members of Les Carillons, an early music group that Cristián plays with. We are among their biggest fans, going to nearly every one of their performances, even when they performed down south in Frutillar in February. We also went to Bariloche, Argentina that month to see Cristian perform with a different group. | ![]() |

Getting the room set up for the concert was an interesting and time consuming procedure, especially now that the group includes a Clavecín (harpsichord in English). This beautiful instrument was hand painted by Camilo's mother and it took her several months to complete. | |

After the private concert for the rest of our guests, everyone got to speak with the performers and learn more
about their instruments. Earlier in November, Les Carillons had introduced their first professional CD, and when we went into the other room for dinner, Artie presented one of these wonderful recordings to each family in attendance. |
